  • Built the IoT infrastructure for a home energy management system (HEMS), integrating solar/energy devices and sensors across multiple IoT platforms into a unified backend (Python, Java, SQL).
  • Administered and hardened a fleet of Debian servers and edge nodes (systemd services, Zabbix monitoring, OPNsense firewalls), ensuring reliable 24/7 operation across 30+ distributed devices in the field.
  • Worked end to end from edge device to cloud, configuring and connecting energy hardware in production.

May 2022 until February 2023 – Vision Impulse GmbH.

  • Developed components of a change-detection pipeline analysing satellite imagery over time (Python).
  • Built a Django App integrating Mapbox displaying results of said pipelineor the RapidAI4EO project.

November 2020 until April 2022 – Research assistant

  • Developed a Blender based tool for automatic and procedural generation of buildings datasets
